The aircraft has been finished as ZE343 ‘Delta Zulu’ of XI(F) Squadron with black and yellow diamond fin cap and squadron markings on the fin.We felt it was important that an F3 was preserved in 11 Sqn Markings due to a personal connection with the Squadron. This aircraft is incredibly complete and in super order.

An incredibly rare aircraft available only at Jet Art! It’s also highly likely to be the only time a RAF Tornado F3 is offered for sale as the entire RAF F3 fleet (bar 3 aircraft to be preserved in national museums) have been destined for spares recover in support the Tornado GR4 fleet, due to remain in service until 2019 or beyond.

This aircraft is an Ex UK Royal Air Force example that served with numerous RAF Fighter squadrons including 29 Sqn, 5 Sqn, 56(R) Sqn and finally 111 Sqn.

It is now offered as an externally complete static display aircraft with the cockpit very complete.

This is a rare ”T-Bird” Twin Stick variant of the Tornado with full flying controls in both the front and rear cockpits. Fitted with RB199 Mk103 afterburning turbofan engines, this former Royal Aircraft Establishment Trial Aircraft was used for Sea Harrier FA2 radar trials and for avionics research and evaluation.

The cockpit is one of a kind modified with MFD screens and a prototype holographic Head Up Display.
